Turning a Microgrant Into a Million
Exciting news: the North Island Early Years Family Justice project was successful in its application to the Law Foundation of BC, and they’ll receive $1 million over four years to continue their transformative work.
SVP Vancouver funded this project with a microgrant through the Transform the Family Justice System Collaborative in 2024, and we’re so pleased to have supported their journey in the past several months.
Jane Morley, Collaborative Advisor with the Transform the Family Justice Collaborative project and Access to Justice BC, says, “We just received the excellent news that the North Island Early Years Family Justice project was successful in its application to the Law Foundation of BC! Thank you for contributing to our success with the Law Foundation by expressing (with the micro-grant and bringing us into your fold) belief in the promise of our ambitious efforts to bring about transformative change to the family justice system for the benefit of children, youth and families.”
We look forward to seeing the project scale and grow in the coming months and years.
