Sohee Kim

Sohee joined SVP Vancouver as Operations and Grantmaking Coordinator in January 2023, and transitioned to Operations and Grantmaking Manager in January 2025. In her role, she oversees SVP’s operations and manages the grantmaking process. She is passionate about making a greater impact in our communities with effective and equitable grantmaking. 

Sohee (she/her/hers) is Korean, with roots in Seoul, South Korea. Before moving to Vancouver, she worked as an administrative coordinator responsible for international grants and collaboration with non-profit organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in International Studies and published an academic article on tax administration reforms in East Africa. 

In her free time, Sohee enjoys finding restaurants that serve the spiciest and tastiest dishes, as well as practicing swimming.
