Marnie Goldenberg
Director

Marnie has 25 years of not-for-profit experience. Equipped with a legal education, Marnie has held senior roles in HR, organizational development, and program management, and served as an interim Executive Director. As a consultant, Marnie supported many organizations in the areas of governance, program development, and evaluation. Marnie joined Family Services to lead programs for youth who are precariously housed or homeless. Her interest in supporting vulnerable youth is lifelong – she worked with this population as an outdoor educator, as a legal advocate within the criminal justice system, and as an educator at Planned Parenthood in Toronto.
In her current role, her portfolio includes vulnerable youth as well as supports for individuals and families living in need, in crisis, or with trauma. Programming includes victim services, counselling, interventions for at-risk families, life skills for children and youth with support needs, assistance for foster families, financial empowerment services, and more.
Marnie also enjoys time with her wife, kids, dog, and friends around the dinner table or in the mountains.
