Candice Parker

Candice joined SVP as Program and Engagement Coordinator in March 2023. In this role, she provides administrative and logistical support for SVP programming, as well as support for our stakeholder engagement, stewardship, and collaboration initiatives. She joins the team with over 15 years of experience in executive administration and event management, having worked with a wide range of leadership levels in the banking, e-commerce, and telecom sectors. She also owned a successful wedding and event-planning business for over 10 years.

Candice was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and moved to Vancouver with her family in her mid-teens. She graduated with a BA in French Language and Linguistics from Simon Fraser University.

An extrovert in every sense of the word, Candice loves connecting with people and has a huge heart for making sure everyone she interacts with feels welcome and included, and that their voice is heard. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with friends and family over a great plate of food or relaxing by whatever body of water she can find.
