Kinbrace

Kinbrace is B.C.’s longest-serving housing provider for people seeking refugee protection in Canada. Since 1998, the Kinbrace community has welcomed over 530 refugee claimants – more than half of them children – by providing transitional housing and integration support. Nationally, Kinbrace works to give each refugee claimant arriving in Canada increased access to refugee protection.

Kinbrace is looking for non-financial support from SVP Partners in the areas of leadership, fund development, strategic planning, communications, finance, and technology.

SVP grant commitment: $75,000 in 2018 which includes generous co-funding from the BPS Wealth Management Group at CIBC Wood Gundy (represented by SVP Partners Geoff Bertram, Tom Porteous and Eric Southam) in the amount of $22,500.
