Down Syndrome Resource Foundation
Building on a legacy of 23 years of valuable service to the Down syndrome (DS) community of Metro Vancouver, the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation (DSRF) offers a wide range of effective educational programs, which are constantly being improved to ensure they meet the evolving and unique needs of students and families.
Whether a child is working on his or her reading, speech and communication abilities, money skills, or the myriad of other areas necessary for community inclusion and greater independence, the lessons DSRF provides are designed around each learner’s personal interests and strengths. The results are plain to see as children grow into adults with not only skills and knowledge, but the confidence needed to live as independently as possible.
DSRF is looking for non-financial support from SVP Partners in the areas of fund development, communications, finance, human resources, and IT.
