Deaf Children’s Society of BC

Deaf Children’s Society of BC (DCS) provides life-affirming services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, from birth to age five, and their families. Their services include bilingual early language and literacy programs, ASL language enrichment, and speech & language support, throughout B.C. With SVP’s support, they are looking to reach more families.

They support the linguistic and cultural values of the Deaf Community, and recognize the value and importance of the experiences and expertise of Deaf people. They promote inclusive and accessible education and communication for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.

DCS was welcomed into our SVP Vancouver community as an Investee in December 2022. We look forward to supporting them with strategic planning, HR support, and program growth.
